| 4. Fellowships The Department of Neurosurgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport is offering a 1 to 2-year funded clinical fellowship with emphasis on subspecialty training in cerebrovascular, skull base, neurotrauma, complex spine and general neurosurgery. The fellowship is designed for individuals who have finished or are in their last 2 years of neurosurgical training. Pre-resident candidates in neurosurgery with 1 to 2 years of surgical training will also be considered. The fellowship is open to both American and foreign medical graduates (ECFMG certified). Visa opportunities are available to fellows. Applicants must meet Louisiana licensing requirements. |
